Introduction

A quick look at my background and influences.

I was born and brought up in a three story tenement above the co-op to the parents of a working class family, we were poor but rich in social and moral being. This was an era of outside loos and hand me downs, coal fires, tin baths, black and white television .. if you had one that is, sliding down the bing on a dustbin lid, stealing apples, playing soadies (soldiers) we had nothing of value but made up for that with plenty of imagination and creativity.
